The Building Youth Resilience Against Cybercrime (BYRAC) intervention aims to empower at-risk youth, diverting them from the potential path of Serious and Organized Crimes (SOCs) through a multifaceted approach. This includes resilience-building sessions, movie screenings, hands-on digital skills training, and the creation of a virtual safe space. The overarching objectives are to instill mental strength to resist criminal activities, provide participants with entrepreneurial and digital skills for legitimate livelihoods, enhance knowledge and awareness about the adverse effects of SOC involvement, and establish a sustainable impact through the virtual safe space. The expected outcome is an increased positive behavioral change in target beneficiaries and a reduction in SOC activities, such as cybercrime, within the community.
