To address this gender digital gap, we are undertaking a digital literacy program tailored specifically for women traders in Plateau State. - Digital Literacy Workshop
This is an interactive workshop to teach women traders how to use digital tools effectively. Topics to be covered include basic computer skills, internet usage, social media marketing, and online security measures.
2. Business Online Setup
This component of the program involves assisting participants in setting up online profiles for their businesses, including creating accounts on social media platforms, setting up business pages, and optimizing their online presence for maximum visibility.
3. Training in Digital Marketing
This session will provide comprehensive training on digital marketing strategies tailored to the needs of market women. This includes guidance on creating compelling content, utilizing digital advertising tools, and leveraging social media to reach potential customers.
4. Online Safety Awareness Session
This session is aimed at raising awareness about online safety threats and best practices for securing online business operations. Topics to be covered include password management, data protection, safe browsing habits, and recognizing online scams.
5. Distribution of Smartphones
Smartphones will be given to 10 women traders among the participants to enhance their ability to conduct cashless transactions and manage their businesses more efficiently. Training sessions will be conducted to ensure participants are proficient in using these devices
